Kath Shenton | Age 75. I was born again and baptised by immersion
in my 40’s having been called out of the Anglican Church where I had
been in despair. For more than 10 years now I have been a servant of
that same Anglican Church having been greatly encouraged and nurtured
while being involved, with my husband, in Flames of Fire conferences
and many Renewal events. I praise the Lord for his provision,
protection and blessings and do what I can to glorify his name and
extend his Kingdom here on earth.

Malcolm Dye
Treasurer
Membership Secretary | I’m 62 years old and have been married to Anne for 35
years. We have no children but Holly, our Jack Russell, keeps us
active! My interests include reading and walking (just as well since
Holly always wants to go for walks).
I was a research scientist for 24 years, initially in the medical field
(at Aberdeen, where I met Anne) and then in agriculture at Harpenden
and Aberystwyth. It was because of my job that we moved to Aberystwyth
in 1987. However, after I was made redundant we were reluctant to leave
Wales and so for the last 12 years I’ve run my own business designing,
printing and finishing large format posters, mostly for the research
community, and running related training courses.
I was an atheist until 11 years ago when God drew me into His Kingdom.
And this only after a long struggle arising from Anne’s obvious
conversion and changed life, and her subsequent filling with the
Spirit. We worship at St Anne’s Church in Penparcau, Aberystwyth where
I have held posts of Vicar’s Warden and Treasurer.
I was originally involved with ARM Wales through Flames of Fire,
where I worked on the team producing the daily news sheet ’Fuel the
Fire’. It is a privilege now to be able to help ARM Wales move
forward in a way that will reach more of Wales than Flames of Fire
could achieve.

Pam WorseyPrayer Co-ordinator | On Saturday, 13th November 2010, I happily set off to attend the ARM (Wales) AGM
in Llanidloes, expecting to quietly sit among the 50 or so I presumed would be
there, listening and learning where ARM (Wales) is at these days, and where God
is leading. He has such a wonderful sense of humour though, and is full of
surprises for His kids! From a greatly reduced number attending, I then came
away with much to ponder, indeed far more than I expected, not least that the
Lord very definitely seemed to lead me to take up my former role as Prayer
Co-ordinator and I was asked to go back onto the Executive! May I faithfully
fulfil both roles in His strength is my prayer, thankfully reassured that when
He calls, He also equips. I feel so privileged to be called once again to be
involved, and ask for your prayers that I might humbly fulfil my roles for His
Glory, and according to His will.

Steve Waters |
I am 51 years old, the eldest of four boys, and have been married to my wife
Cherie for 30 years. I have 2 sons and 4 grandsons, and I work for the Welsh
Ambulance Service as a state registered Paramedic, a job I have been doing for
28 years. I was born into the Anglican Church and have worshiped within it
all my life, but it wasn’t until 1988 that I gave my life to Jesus. I was
licensed as a lay reader to the parish of All Saints Newport in 1998. I took
on the Job of Chairman of ARM Wales in 2005, in obedience to God’s calling,
and resigned in 2010 when God moved me on.

Marina Kennard |
- I
am 74 years old, one of nine children, and have been widowed for 24
years. After my husband’s death I completed my studies for the ministry
in May 1989. I was ordained and inducted as a Non-Stipendiary-Minister
at Castle Square U.R.C. Treforest. After two and a half years I then accepted a call to serve as N.S.M at Pagham U.R.C., West Sussex. Family
commitments resulted in my return to Cwmbran to live with my ailing
mother and she died in 1998. During this time I was actively involved
in the healing ministry and, following an invitation from Archbishop
(Wales, at the time) Rowan Williams I was ordained into the Church in
Wales as a deacon. I served in the parish of MynyddIslwyn and, later, was ordained as a priest. Following
my mother’s death I moved to my own home in Hollybush, Cwmbran, where I
still reside. Personal circumstances and health problems produced a
change to my serving as a voluntary Hospital Chaplain for a number of
years. During this period I regularly preached in local churches and
was active in the ecumenical movement. In my retirement I worship in
local churches and retain my interest in ecumenical matters. While
attending one of the ARM (Wales) conferences I became interested in the
Flames of Fire and this has resulted in my starting to serve on the
Executive Committee of ARM (Wales). It
is a joy to serve on this committee and I trust that the Lord will use
me to further his work through the medium of ARM (Wales).
- I have a longing in my heart to see this beloved nation, Wales, won back to Christ. In
the second book of Chronicles, Chapter 7, verse 14, the Lord says “If
my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray,
seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land.”
- The
Lord still speaks these very same words to us as a nation Wales and so
I pray for a fresh anointing of His Holy Spirit on Wales and His
Churches.
